CHINA (HAINAN). This month’s eagerly anticipated China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo) will feature product launches from 28 Chinese and international companies, representing over 60 brands. The news was reported in an update by Hainan International Media Center (Hi Hainan).

As reported the event will be held in Haikou, Hainan from 26 to 30 July. The opening ceremony will be held on the evening of 25 July. It was postponed from its original dates of 12-16 April due to a COVID-19 surge in several Chinese provinces.

On 27 and 28 July a special stage at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center will host the launch events. Categories include beauty, jewellery and consumer technology.

Launch events will be held by L’Oréal Group, Shiseido Group and Pierre Fabre Group in beauty and Dell Technology Group and OSIM in technology. Liquor will be strongly represented through brand houses including Diageo, William Grant & Sons, Edrington and Whyte & Mackay.

Diamond jewellery brands Kimberlite Diamond, Platinum Guild International, and Larwiner will also display their collection-grade jewellery.

In the domestic product exhibition area, Bloomage Biotech and iFLYTEK will showcase the achievements of Chinese brands in biotechnology and artificial intelligence. Retailers including Times DF (Shenzhen Duty Free Haikou Mission Hills Duty Free City), Fosun, Tmall International and JD.com will also use their platforms to promote the launch of own-label and partner brands’ products.

An International Fashion Week will be held concurrently with the Expo. By special invitation, the international pioneering platform QI Collective Shanghai Showroom and its young artist incubation platform project Geek Wonderland will appear at the event.
